The CRC SGH laboratory is established in 2017 when the CRC SGH team moved into its purpose-built facility. The CRC SGH laboratory is divided into 3 main units: standard laboratory, bioanalytical laboratory and molecular laboratory. The laboratory obtained MS ISO/ IEC 17025: 2017 accreditation for chemical testing in 28 June 2019 to provide quality analytical testing for pharmacokinetic (PK) study samples. CRC SGH laboratory has also obtained MS ISO 15189: 2014 accreditation for medical testing under the standard laboratory since 25 November 2019 and for molecular genetic testing under the molecular laboratory in 03 January 2023. With dual ISO accreditation, the CRC SGH laboratory provides a wide range of quality assured testing from biochemistry to plasma drug level quantification to genetic testing with fast turnaround time.
