Dr Voon Pei Jye

Dr. Voon Pei Jye is an accomplished physician with extensive experience in oncology and clinical research. Currently serving as the Head of Department for the Radiotherapy and Oncology Department at Sarawak General Hospital in Kuching, he holds an M.D. from Universiti Malaysia Sarawak and MRCP from the Royal College of Physician, United Kingdom. Dr. Voon also holds a Master of Medicine and Advanced Specialist Training in Medical Oncology from the National University of Singapore and National Cancer Institute Singapore, as well as a Clinical Research Fellowship in Phase 1 Drug Development Program from Princess Margaret Cancer Centre, University Health Network, Toronto. Dr. Voon is an active clinical researcher and is currently overseeing numerous ongoing clinical trials. His research contributions have been recognized with numerous awards and honors. Additionally, he has published multiple manuscripts and presented abstracts and posters at various conferences. Dr. Voon is one of the scientific committee members of Asia Pacific Oncology Drug Development Consortium and also ATLAS Board. He is also a member of several professional committees and societies, including the Malaysian Oncological Society, European Society of Medical Oncology (ESMO), and American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO).
Dr Teh Cheng Lay

Dr Teh Cheng Lay is currently the Head of Rheumatology unit at Sarawak General Hospital in Kuching. She graduated from University Kebangsaan Malaysia with MD (Honours) and subsequently obtained MRCP (UK). She completed her Rheumatology subspeciality trainings in Tan Tock Seng Hospital, Singapore and Royal Perth Hospital, Australia. She is active in clinical research in Rheumatology including clinical trials and self-initiated clinical studies. She has extensive experiences as a Principal investigator in numerous Rheumatology clinical trials ranging from Phase 3 to First-in-Human studies. Her research papers have been published in various peer reviewed journals.
Dr Kho Sze Shyang

Dr. Kho Sze Shyang is an internal medicine physician and pulmonologist from Sarawak General Hospital, Kuching, Malaysia. Dr. Kho completed his primary medical training in 2010
and attained membership of the royal college of physician (MRCP) in 2014. He completed his national respiratory medicine fellowship in 2021 and attained the European Respiratory Society (ERS) Diploma in Adult Respiratory Medicine in the same year. He was the recipient of the prestigious ERS Clinical Training Fellowship in which he underwent further training in interstitial lung disease in Royal Brompton Hospital, United Kingdom and also the Asian Pacific Society of Respirology (APSR) Training Scholarship for fellowship in advanced respiratory endoscopy in National Cancer Center Hospital, Japan. Dr. Kho’s research interests include interventional pulmonology, interstitial lung disease and pleural diseases. His research works have been published in various international and local peer reviewed journals. Dr. Kho is also one of the council member of The Asian Pacific Interventional Pulmonology Alliance
(APIPA) and currently serve as a committee member of World Association for Bronchology and Interventional Pulmonology (WABIP).
Dr Lim Tzyy Huei

Dr. Lim Tzyy Huei is a dedicated dermatologist serving in the Dermatology Department of Sarawak General Hospital. He obtained his Medical Degree from I.M. Sechenov First Moscow State Medical University and has pursued multiple esteemed qualifications, including an Advanced Master in Dermatology (UKM), MRCP (UK), a Postgraduate Diploma in Practical Dermatology (Cardiff), CMIA (NIOSH), and an International Fellowship in Dermatopathology (Mackay Memorial Hospital, Taipei).
Dr. Lim is actively involved in clinical research since 2020, focusing on advancing dermatological knowledge, particularly in complex skin conditions. He has published articles in medical journals and has been invited as a speaker at several dermatology conferences and events, sharing his expertise with peers and aspiring dermatologists. Additionally, he serves as a peer reviewer for the Malaysian Family Physician Journal, contributing to the advancement of primary care dermatology. Beyond his clinical and research contributions, he is passionate about medical education, serving as an adjunct lecturer at Universiti Malaysia Sarawak (UNIMAS), where he mentors future medical professionals.
His commitment to excellence has been recognized through the Excellent Service Award (Anugerah Perkhidmatan Cemerlang) by the Ministry of Health, Malaysia and the International Society of Dermatology Global Education Award. He is also a member of the Dermatological Society of Malaysia, the Asian Society of Dermatopathology, and the Academy of Medicine of Malaysia, reflecting his active engagement in the dermatology community.

Dr Chew Lee Ping

Dr Chew Lee Ping is an accomplished consultant haematologist with over a decade of experience practicing at Sarawak General Hospital in Kuching. She obtained her medical degree from Universiti Sains Malaysia in 1999 and went on to attain MRCP(UK) in 2003. Dr Chew pursued her speciality training in Haematology at Hospital Kuala Lumpur and Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre in Melbourne for a year, honing her skills and expertise in the field.
Dr Chew’s primary focus is on malignant and non-malignant blood disorders. She has made significant contributions to the field as an active participating investigator in many multicentre clinical trials, particularly in lymphoma treatment and red blood cell disorders. Currently, she is holding 10 clinical trials as the Principal Investigator. Her dedication and commitment to advancing medical knowledge and improving patient outcomes have earned her the respect and admiration of her colleagues and patients alike.
